Artist - Eveline Tarunadjaja

I haven't written a blog post in a while so I thought I should.  Recently I have been into a lot of contemporary female illustrationists and over the next few months I will feature the work of a few of my favourites that I discover. A few weeks ago I discovered the lovely pen/ink work of this Indonesian artist called Eveline Tarunadjaja. Some of her drawings are very ornate and delicate and I have included a few of them below. She also has quite a few mature drawings, one of them featuring a girl with hair made up of cigarettes! On the topic of the hair I love how she draws the hair of all of the girls in her drawings, it's so mystical and in a few drawings actually looks like pasta! I wish I had hair like that! Other drawings feature beautifully drawn flowers and a few feature vibrantly coloured balloons.

Kareena Zerefos

I recently discovered this wonderful contemporary artist a few weeks ago. Her name is Kareena Zerefos and her cute illustrations and prints are absolutely beautiful. Below are a few of my favourite drawings of hers. I have the one of a girl with a rat on her head on a postcard and have it next to my bed. This is my favourite work of hers, it is so cute!
